but when i tried it with ie, i was able to access the "secure" pages through history and by typing the path of them even after closing original browser, after inputting the login the only way it would ask again is if i cleared cookies. when testing in mozilla after i loged in and then closed the browser, opened a new browser in mozilla, it asked for the login again! PERFECT! even if i went to the history and clicked on the protected page, it still asked for password again! PERFECT! that's exactly what i was looking for.
